A Cuppa and a Chat on Prayer
For our first Pastoral Conversation, Heather Mikelson is joined by Rev. Stella Campbell of Skene Parish Church, Rev. Carl Irvine of St. Andrew’s Parish Church, and Rev. Neil Meyer of Kintore Parish Church. With coffee and tea in hand, they have an online conversation on prayer, and how our approach to prayer might be impacted by COVID-19. During the conversation, they address questions such as, “Is there a right or wrong way to pray?” and “Can I pray when I am angry?” Stella, Carl, and Neil pull from their training and personal experiences as they teach and share with us ways and resources which have helped them in their own lives. Please grab a cuppa and join this conversation on prayer!
Oh wow, there are so many things I liked about the conversation between. Inisters. Firstly it was like being part of a chat with friends, people who I was familiar with. I liked that the topic of prayer was discussed on a general and personal level. I connected with and could understand so much more about how I pray and how I recognise that it has evolved and changed over the years maybe as my relationship with God has developed. I also connect with the fact that it continues to change and grow, as I continue my journey of faith. Well done to all, really enjoyable, powerful yet in a relaxed, coffee time style.
