Thy Kingdom Come (TKC) is a global movement for daily prayer from Ascension Day to Pentecost – by both individuals and groups, including in their worship services. The TKC 2023 website includes a wide range of resources and ideas about ways to pray for more people to come to know Jesus.
In Kintore, there will be a number of opportunities to take part in this prayer movement from Ascension Day (18th May) to Pentecost (28th May). The activities currently planned are:
18th-28th May Open Church, 2 hours a day at different times (details below). Resources include:
- 8 themed Prayer Stations, with aids to help focus personal prayer on specific issues.
- Prayer bead kits – one focussed on 5 people you select (5 beads), one on the Lord’s Prayer (6 beads).
- Books to borrow, for those without website access (details below).
21st May TKC prayer included in our Sunday worship.
28th May Personal prayer extracts from the Open Church Prayer Tree in our Sunday worship.
28th May 2:00pm Prayer Walk round our community (start at Church, approx. 90 minutes). Meet together at 3:30pm in the Church Hall for fellowship, a cuppa and home bakes
