Our planned theme for this month is celebrating God’s Wonderful World. Envelopes have been posted to our regular Messy church families along with e-mails to our volunteer leaders inviting them to join together in trying a variety of activities centred around sunflowers. Perhaps trying growing sunflowers, junk modelling, knitting or designing a garden game, to name but a few – folk will be busy getting creative.
On Sunday May 17th Neil will be on-line with a message on the theme. Alongside being Christ–centred, creativity is part of Messy Church as is hospitality. Folk have been invited to gift a sunflower to a neighbour, post a sunflower card to a friend and plan a Garden Party at home!
A Gallery will be set up to share photos or videos of what everyone has been getting up to. Messy Church will run in this way during May – recent feedback has shown that everyone is very busy with home schooling demands at present so this will allow flexibility.
