Public Meeting – Sunday 1st May 2022
On Sunday, 1st May, we will hold the first of a series of public meetings to discuss the proposed union with the other churches in our area grouping. We anticipate that a union of congregations will affect such matters as ministry, leadership and finances but also things like pastoral care and worship. We would welcome any and all questions about these and other matters.  The meeting will involve a brief recap of what the union would involve and then an open time for questions and discussion.

We will meet after the service in the mid-halls.  There will be time to get a cup of tea in the main hall on your way to the meeting. Everyone is welcome. This is only the first of a series of public meetings.  We will also arrange an online Zoom meeting for folk who are not yet ready to join in-person meetings.  We will also arrange additional in-person and online meetings as needs dictate. Questions and comments are also welcome via email or letter.

We would like everyone to have ample opportunity to engage with the process before we come to the point where we will have to make a formal decision about the matter as a congregation.

Joint Website Worship at 10:00am – a service of worship which is shared with the Congregations of Kemnay, Echt & Midmar, Cluny & Monymusk and Blairdaff & Chapel of Garioch will be available to view throughout the week. The link is here:
