A Talk for our Time: Racism and our Response, Episode 1

How is racism an issue today? In the news, we see and read about various expressions of protests against racism. How are we to respond as Christians? It is easy to turn off the news and avoid the topic, but is that what God is calling us to do? Will you take a risk and join us we tackle an important but uncomfortable conversation?
For our first episode, we welcome back a few familiar faces: Rhona Cathcart of Inverurie West Church, Carl Irvine of St. Andrew’s Parish Church, Neil Meyer of Kintore Parish Church, and Joshua Mikelson of Kemnay Parish Church. Heather Mikelson also welcomes two new friends to the conversation, Boitumelo Garberone and Aquila Singh. Boitumelo joins us from South Africa where she ministers at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Grahamstown, and Aquila ministers at Fernhill and Cathkin Church in Glasgow.
Our panel speaks honestly from their hearts and from their experience, while also examining how the scriptures have challenged them to live differently in our world. Please grab a cuppa and join this needed conversation on racism.
